Now in its 17th year, the annual Shoreline Cleanup on Table Rock Lake is carried out by hundreds of our fellow lake lovers who don’t want to see trash piling up on the shores.
Help us continue to organize the Shoreline Cleanup and get the word out, form teams and supply volunteers for their cleanup activities! As a sponsor, your business gets recognition and community advertising! See the Shoreline Cleanup Sponsor Page.
So far, volunteers have removed over 255 tons of trash, over 3,450 tires, and have clocked at least 36 thousand hours cleaning up the shorelines. With more than 700 miles of shoreline on the lake, the heavy rain and recent flooding, there’s sure to be more litter and trash to be cleaned up. How do you join this effort? Clean up all year at your favorite location and we encourage you to make this a team effort and gather your family, friends, and neighbors to join you in the cleanup.
To join the effort:
- Select a location you’d like to clean up that is either familiar to you, is where you have seen trash, or is a convenient location to you. We can also help you in selecting a location.
- You can pick up trash bags from our Kimberling City office . For our scheduled event (the 1st Saturday in April) we provide trash bags, gloves, snack bars, dumpsters and directions and other goodies. Download the team and trash tracking sheets and help us keep track of all the great work you and others do around the lake!
- Clean up for a couple hours on a Saturday – or any time you take to the water, it all counts!
- Turn in your Team Sheets to help us track the trash and, get fabulous t-shirt for each person on your team as well as a camping voucher for any of the Table Rock Lake Corps of Engineers campgrounds.

How do we provide supplies, coordinate, and continue this effort?
Thanks to our many community supporters who make our coordination of the annual Shoreline Cleanup possible! We could not do the work of seeking volunteers, provide cleanup supplies, arranging for trash removal, recycling and disposal, and best of all, provide the beautiful t-shirts to our valued volunteers without our area businesses helping out each year. Thank You!
